JNRB 2026: Bringing Together Biomedical Research in Normandy

The 9th edition of Normandy Biomedical Research Day (JNRB) will be held on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at the UFR Health of the University of Rouen Normandy. This annual event is a flagship initiative, aimed at bringing together the regional biomedical community for a day of scientific exchange and promotion of research work.

🎯 Aim of the day

The JNRB offers a unique platform for:

  • Presenting ongoing research projects, ranging from fundamental research to clinical research.

  • Promoting interdisciplinary exchanges between researchers, clinicians, students, and healthcare professionals.

  • Highlighting scientific advances made within Normandy institutions.

📆 Provisional schedule

The day will be punctuated by:

  • Two plenary lectures: 
    Pr Chantal PICHON (ART-ARNm INSERM U1364, Université d'Orléans, Institut Universitaire de France): ARNm en biomédecine : des vaccins aux thérapies personnalisées, entre promesses et défis
    - Pr Mathieu Molimard (co-rédacteur du rapport "Information en Santé" remis au MESR en janvier 2026, Université de Bordeaux): Recommandations pour une stratégie nationale d’information et de lutte contre la désinformation en santé


  • Oral presentations and poster sessions: junior and senior researchers will share their recent work, offering an overview of the research dynamics in Normandy.

  • Scientific filmography: as every year, Professor Jean-Jacques Parienti will present a selection of videos illustrating the most significant publications of the past year.

Award ceremony: two awards will be given to the best oral presentations and commented posters, highlighting the excellence of the contributions presented.
